Gingerbread stars from Butterfly Food, discovered through Claire's blog. <3

I discovered Dream.Delight.Inspire this week. Yet another blog which has had me trawling through it's archives!

Amy from Just a Titch wrote a guest post a while back for Lady Smaggle: 'On Showing Up, everyday...' It really made me evaluate how 'involved' I am in my day to day life. "Do you live in the future too much? Ask yourself, are you good with today?  And if I not, what can you do in the next few minutes to change that?"

In more personal news, my ex boyfriend finally moved out of our shared flat today. I was pretty sad, but am now too excited about decorating! Let's see how long this lasts before I have Ben&Jerry and When Harry Met Sally on the go...

How To Look Prettier Today

Smile - Being happy makes us women glow, and smiling is the first external hint that we can give the world that we are happy and content people. Think about something which has made you laugh, or something sweet a lover has done for your recently, a genuine smile shines through lovely and make you seem like such a positive person. Hurrah!

Know what flatters you - Dress for your body shape, wear colors which compliment your skin tone and have a hair style which makes the most of your face shape. They say 'If you've got it - flaunt it' - so really make the most of any assets you have and make any slightly wobbly bits look their best anyway.

Get a Healthy Glow - Know how everyone seems to say that drinking more water clears up your skin? Well, they're totally on to something there! I know it can be difficult to drink lots of water, seeing as it's not usually high on our favorite drinks list, so be sneaky, and trick yourself into drinking more. Have a glass with every meal. Have a bottle of water with you at work that you can sip at, and if you drink a lot of fruit juice, try switching one for a glass of flavored water. It all adds up and you'll soon start noticing the difference!

Goldilocks - Whatever color locks you may have, keep it clean, brushed, and and in good condition. Try to have it trimmed every six weeks, no matter what the length to avoid split ends. I'm still trying to get into the habit of doing this, I always forget and end up having suddenly gone five months without a visit to my hairdresser. Oopps!

Don't Overdo It - Make up was made to enhance your own natural beauty, not create a fake one to hide behind. There is a very good reason why 'Tango Girls' get so much fun made of them. So sparingly on the fake tan, and make sure that when people look at you, the first thing they notice isn't 'too much eyeliner/mascara/blusher', it's how pretty you actually are.

Stand Tall - Good posture makes us look and feel more confident, makes us look slimmer and avoids us getting home with back ache. Win-win-win right? Letting our public know that we respect ourselves, means they will respect you in return.

And Rest... - Get enough sleep so your body can rest and look after itself properly. Know if you're an early bird or a night owl and try to organised your schedule accordingly. No one looks great at 8am if you generally can't get to sleep until 4am. Try to avoid sleeping on your face, it is honestly the main cause of spots I think. Twelve hours of sleeping on a pillowcase with no oxygen getting to your skin is no good.

Above all, believe you are beautiful...

And 'tis the end of a very busy week for me! Been planning lots of Christmas presents so that I can go and do my Christmas shopping all in one go! Hurrah!

I'm definitely going to try out this for my River Island Xmas Party tonight!

Have you guys seen Carrie's Christmas Wish List? I want nearly all of it, and am going to start writing my own sometime today.

Anyone love photos of beautiful and tasteful tattoos? Me, too. So check out Tattoologist which have lots of beauties like this one.

I am so in love with this song. It's on the store soundtrack fro River Island, and I always sing along when it comes on.

And lastly, my favorite PostSecret from this week.
