If you did, you just missed the British summer. That's it folks!
Seeing as I can't look forward to any British sun, I'm going to have to just have to dream about the impending African holiday I have planned. Good gracious how I want a tan. Morocco here I come!
A thought.

- Rainbow flowers? Yes please, Katie!
- I just love the pops of colour in this post on Erin Ever After.

Waited by the phone, refreshing my email account in hope of some news about this job. Still nothing. Feeling a tad silly for getting my hope so high, only to apparently have them dashed - but I guess no news is good news. In the mean time all I can do is wait. My Manager, who is lovely, said that she can't think of any reason why I wouldn't have got it after how well the interview went and suggests that I email the Human Resources department for feedback, which is my next plan.
Thank you, thank you to everyone who has wished me luck! Please keep your fingers crossed until Monday, and hopefully I'll hear something then.
I have two days off work now! Thrilled.
What are you planning to do with your Sunday?

And you've just proved it again: Lou Brealey = awesomesauce.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Morocco. Belgian summer is pretty nothing as well. Meh. I'm just hoping we'll get some track & field medals as well (go Jonathan Borlée!!!!). My mum and I wish we could get adopted by TeamGB tonight though... What a night!
Oh wow. England, your weather is strange. I hope you did get the job and there's probably some sort of hold up or mix up with paperwork--something minor and silly. I am sure you did amazing.
ReplyDeleteAre you actually going to Morocco soon or is this an Amber dream-to-accomplish in the future? Regardless, Morocco would be a lovely change of scenery and a nice way to unwind.
Dude! I'm writing about gender this week (well, that's the plan!), so your feminism quotes made me smile. Both quotes are, well, they make me happy and sad. I can't believe we're still talking about and fighting for equality in 2012.
